  2. I have not been able to give any time this summer to natural dyeing, and miss it. So nice to read your blog and be reminded of the simplicity and beauty of nature combined with stitch.

    Well done.

  3. Beautiful! I have such a love for indigo!
I spent some time last week playing around with dip dyeing (instead of straight or shibori) some scarves and now I want to try some over dyeing. I did a little with onion (inspired by your beautiful work) and it is beautiful!!!
Although right now I am working on getting a bunch of screen printing done for a fair next week, I also am hoping to have an afternoon to continue playing with the over dyeing.

    1. Really enjoying dipping myself. I have a little daily ritual as my indigo vat is very happy at the moment. I go downstairs to my work room every morning before I leave the house and dip the pieces shown in these photographs, then leave them until the next day. It's a nice routine.

  4. Gorgeous shots!

I've been fiddling with bits of hem stitching this week ... I haven't dyed any of it though.
