new work

I'm showing new work for the first time in three years at this event. Naturally-dyed, repurposed fabrics, old thread, hand stitch. Small local studies, slow textile sketches. All rooted in the materials I've been growing, dyeing, and collecting in the area where I live.

I've done a mini interview with Hannah who is exhibiting with me (alongside Hugh) over here.

  13. Hi, Claire. Beautiful pieces, subtle. I love the slow stuff. Sometimes I start out doing it--it never goes in the right direction, however and the sewing machine usually takes over. Fortunately I can admire your work/play!
