work in progress

I'm continuing to work on my slow squares. This one uses scraps of silk, cotton and linen, dyed with walnut, weld/indigo, and rudbeckia flowers. Stitching time is precious but limited at the moment.

  1. Those colours are beautiful, the squares remind me of a patchwork of ploughed fields.

  3. I really like your slow squares, such lovely colors and stitching. Your dyeing experiments are very interesting. I've been resisting dyeing but I'm going to try pomegranate peels today since it's pomegranate season and I've got them in my yard. I look forward to following your projects!
