drab

Button-hole silk twist found at the Hebden Bridge Rag Market on Sunday. Drab would sum up today well - 'lacking brightness' - grey skies and now pouring rain.

I've been finishing off this little green study. The colours are pretty drab too, faded and dull, but in a way I like.

  3. No not drab, having seen part of it with my own eyes, its subtle and organic.

  6. I really love this drab-subtle-soft colours, or whatever you call them... In fact, I'm changing my own palette, from strong to mute.

    This is a wonderful work.
