Monthly Magic: Re-Fashion Your Wardrobe
Thursday 16th September 7-9pm, Magic Number 3, Saltaire. A special session as part of the
Saltaire Arts Trail. Practical tips for restyling your clothes, bring an old t-shirt or jersey top and transform it. Equipment and other materials are provided. For booking details visit the Magic Number 3 website.

Experimental Textiles at Kirkgate Studios and Workshops, Shipley. Three ten week courses run for the Workers' Educational Association.

Mondays 7-9pm. Course start dates 20th September, 17th January, 2nd May. Fees £61 per ten week course (concessions available).

This popular course explores  a variety of practical and creative textile techniques, including dyeing and printing, using an embellishing machine, constructed textile techniques, and many more. No previous experience necessary. This is a really friendly class and there is an emphasis on skill sharing and developing your own projects.

Enrolment begins at 10am Tuesday 24th August. See the KS&W website for more details.

Eco Textiles
During this unique ten week course you will learn about natural dyeing using plants from Kirkgate Studios and Workshops local dye garden. Cultivate and extract dyes from plants; revive historical techniques; produce naturally dyed yarn and cloth for your own textile projects.

Course begins May 2011 at Kirkgate Studios and Workshops. This community course has been funded through the Big Lottery Fund. Community classes are free to people aged over 50 years or in receipt of means tested benefits. For booking details contact KS&W.
